Ib is the sort of dj that would much rather get to the next tune than wait for the one thats playing to finish. He bought a pair of turntables a few years ago and found them restrictive, limiting and too big for his tiny box room in Southampton's premier student district; Portswood.

Whilst scavenging across the internet he found Ableton, a virtually limitless sequencer and producers' production tool that he didn't really have the musical talent to do anything worth while with.

So he dragged the contents of his hard drive into its beautifully designed window, and promptly went bananas with the possibilities. All that time spent trying to dj in the real world was wasted; he realised he could at last marry all that suspect teen pop he had collected to the vast array of hectic jungle and gabba he was beginning to listen to since he realised drum and bass was crap.

Ib is no more a dj than your nan is superman. He certainly wouldn't want anyone to think he really cared about dance music. He just wants to make it hard for the real djs who get paid money. He reckons they're shit.

Aside for his good friends at acid-rain, who are possibly the best bunch of mateys he's ever worked with.

He's dead proud of them.
